ABOUT THE ARTIST, MARTINE CARLSON
Martine Carlsen is an illustrator and a web designer with a love for cats and a big sense of humor. She manages her own web design company, Relax Inc., and in her spare time manages to do the thing she loves best—depict cats in words and art. Martine brings fresh and new perspectives about cats to her colorful, whimsical, well-designed art, which is all done digitally. The designs we show on our site range from paintings and fine art to fun-loving illustrations. Martine lives in Denmark, which she terms a “small - REALLY small - country in northern Europe”. She is the proud "mother" of two wonderful Abyssinian cats, Sonny and Cher, who are the greatest source of inspiration for all of her cat designs. They are also her toughest critics and have the final word of approval on all of Martine's ideas and final artwork. Enjoy her cat-centric art!
