Don't Bend to Clean!!

LITTER-LIFT was developed for the elderly, handicapped and (anyone wanting an easier way to clean a litter box). This product was designed and developed to help the elderly and handicapped to be able to take car of their pets without outside help. NO MAINTENANCE OF PARTS REQUIRED.

Most everyone recognizes the benefits of owning a pet. Every year many of our elderly are forced to give up their pets because they can no longer take care of them simply because they cannot bend over or stoop down. Likewise some of the handicapped have limited abilities to care for a pet. In many cases this is devastating.

LITTER-LIFT is made from an Aluminum frame structure with decorative panels. There is a hinged lid which is raised automatically by two gas pistons when the lid lock is released. The lid has two cam arms that extend down into the box and attached to an integral litter box. As the lid rises, it brings up the litter box to the level of the top of the main box. At this level, it is an easy job to sift the litter for disposal. After sifting, simply push the lid down until it automatically locks. The litter acts as a counterbalance to the gas springs, so very little effort is needed to push the lid down.

The cat entry hole can be in the front or the back. Tip: If you have dogs, it is sometimes a better idea to arrange the cat entry hole in the back or hinge end. This can serve for two purposes. First, the box can be placed up against the wall leaving just enough room for the cat to enter. This hides the entry hole and disguises the box for what it really is. Another benefit is if you have dogs, it prevents them from poking there noses into someone else’s business.
