A smaller brother of the "Big Oak"

You liked what you saw and read about the "Big Oak" but it was just a little too big? Then this may be the right Cat Tree for you and your cat. Built with the same quality materials and workmanship as the "Big Oak", this smaller unit is a real value for the price. It's a great place for your cat to "hang-out" .

This Cat Tree we call the "Little Oak" is almost the spitting image of the "Big Oak". It's made of the same quality materials and workmanship as its bigger brother, but its just two feet shorter. This Cat Tree still provides multi-level climbing layers, several scratching areas, and plenty of resting space.

The number of large leaves is the same in both units (four). These large leaves are sculptured to nestle your cat and provide additional comfort with extra padding and our thermal layer which retains your cat's body heat. The 4 large leaves are 12” x 20” – in addition to the four there are also 3 smaller leaves – 10” x 18” – so you have a total of 7 leaves on the Small Oak. Each leaf is attached to the trunk with a special brace that allows it to "flex" under the cat's weight. Thus when your cat climbs or jumps onto a leaf it has a built-in shock absorber that cushions the landing and is easier on your cat's joints and back. The little oak has only one leaf on what we call the back side – you, the customer, can tell us you want the tree to fit closer into a corner or up against a wall and we will include a ‘block’ covered in trunk carpet that you can put over the bracket instead of attaching that back leaf and then the tree will slide into a corner or against a wall better.

There are nine holes to keep "curiosity" at its peak, each leading to the center of the trunk with its 12" diameter which is fully lined. The 9 holes lead into 3 "cubbies" for exploring. The top platform is a square and has extra padding and a thermal layer for comfort. ** The Crows Nest, on top of the Big Oak is available on this tree for an additional $35.00. ** The wide round base ensures stability and guarantees the Cat Tree will not tip during normal use.
